If this work seems reminiscent of Jay Ward and UPA, it’s no accident, David Evans began his writing career on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, alongside such legendary UPA veterans as; Bill Scott, Bill Hurtz, Pete Burness, and Lew Keller. He also wrote for The Monkees, Captain Yuk, and Bill Cosby. No wonder everyone loves the Famous Hooper Brothers.
